Jan is a University of Guelph graduate who came to the city for an education and stayed, worked, and taught in the area. She loves the diversity of Guelph, the culture here and the way this growing area has maintained its small town feel of connectedness and sharing. Jan’s connection to Guelph goes beyond serving the residents in their home-buying needs. She stays active through curling and golfing and gives back to her community through volunteer work with Hospice.

Dave you exceeded our expectations in every way. You did the required without fail. You were always on time, always cheerful and helpful. You showed us what we were looking for and never anything that we were not interested in. You pointed out the good and the not so good on the places we viewed. You provided us with excellent access to various experts to assist when needed. You assisted us in submitting offers on places of interest, including guiding us on possible price points and strategies, and helped us learn from rejected offers. All good stuff, but what sets you apart and greatly above our expectations was how you explained the process to us. It was really noticeable when you explained the various real estate documents involved. You took the time to clearly explain the legalize in plain understandable language, so when we re-read the documents, we understood what they were saying. The contrast between you and our lawyer who subsequently had us sign legal documents was startling. When I asked what some of the legal papers meant, he simply re-read them. I can read, I just did not understand. You, on the other hand, helped me understand. Thank you!

David and Jan were beyond helpful when we sold our house, neither my wife or I had ever sold a house and they walked us thru the process right at our kitchen table for over an hour happily answering any and all questions we had regarding the process, from listing to final sale and all the steps in between. During the process they both kept in constant contact with us regarding viewings, ensuring that the schedule was flexible and allowed us time to make any changes to our daily routines to accommodate viewings. Once we received offers, Jan & David sat with us in their office and gave us their professional opinions regarding the numerous offers to ensure that we made the best decision for us when it came to which offer to accept and also gave us information on the closing procedures that would be involved. I would have to say that I do not think we could have had a better experience in being first time home sellers than working so closely with Jan & David and I would recommend their services to anyone in the market to sell their home.
